Mane Event Gravel Grinder Returns to Benefit Vision in Sheridan County

The Mane Event Gravel Grinder returns to Sheridan on Sept. 19, offering cyclists of all experience levels an opportunity to ride Wyoming’s scenic gravel roads while supporting local charitable efforts.

Sundowner Lions Club members Bill Rathburn and Jim Rapp appeared on Public Pulse to invite riders to take the challenge of one of three courses.

The event is organized by Wild Path Racing and hosted by Koltiska Pumpkin Patch in partnership with the Sheridan Sundowners Lions Club. Proceeds from the event benefit the Sundowners Lions Club, which uses the funds to provide vision screenings, eyeglasses for children in need, assistance with eye surgeries and other sight-related programs throughout the region. 

The Gravel Grinder has become one of the Sundowners Lions Club’s signature annual fundraisers since its debut in 2021. Find out more and register by clicking here.
