SOS Applauds Lawsuit Dismissal

Natrona County District Court Judge Daniel Forgey dismissed a lawsuit Wednesday filed by Jimmy Skovgard challenging Wyoming’s closed primary system, granting a motion to dismiss filed by Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray in May. Skovgard is a Casper Republican who is running for U.S. Senate in Wyoming. Secretary Gray applauded the Court’s dismissal of the lawsuit.

Gray finished by saying that he takes these attacks on Wyoming’s primary system very seriously, and the dismissal is another huge win for election integrity in the state.
