The Women’s Build Day

Habitat for Humanity has hosted an annual Women Build Day since 1991. Now in it’s 29th year, the Women Build is going forward despite changes having to be made due to COVID-19.
The Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns Women Build Day is taking place on Aug. 4 – 8. To adjust for the restricted staffing that is required, Habitat added extra days to allow plenty of women the opportunity to volunteer, raise money and learn something new during the Women’s Build day.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorn’s executive director Christine Dieterich said the day offers women the opportunity to learn something brand new if they have never been on a job site in the past.
