Alcohol Delivery Ordinance to Be Considered by Council

The Sheridan City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night will be considering first reading of an ordinance that addresses the delivery of alcohol within city limits. City Councilman Aaron Linden says that the idea to allow for the delivery of alcohol didn’t necessarily begin with the emergency ordinance that was enacted in late March due to the pandemic.
The Council will also be considering a resolution on the Brooks Street right-of-way vacation.
Linden said that part of the County’s request to vacate that portion of Brooks is also safety related.
The Council meeting will take place at 7 Monday night in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall. The meeting will also be broadcast live on KWYO 1410 AM and 106.9 FM.
