The 2026 Sheridan College Broadway Musical Theatre Intensive has been holding courses since June 12. Led by Director and Creative Producer Gina Feliccia who teaches acting and vocal performance at Sheridan College, the Broadway Musical Theatre Intensive gives students the opportunity to experience master classes taught by Sheridan College faculty and industry professionals in performance and technical theater disciplines.

Students participating in this year’s intensive will conclude their summer training with three public performances at Sheridan College of Little Shop of Horrors by Howard Ashman in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts, with shows scheduled for June 26 and June 27.

Feliccia’s extensive performance career has introduced her to industry leaders and insiders who she invites to share their knowledge and expertise with students during the intensive. Director, writer and actor of Broadway, television and feature film, Michael Berry, taught sessions on directing and directs the culminating performance of Little Shop of Horrors.

Little Shop of Horrors is a horror-comedy rock musical that was originally based on a 1960 low-budget film. Many may remember the 1986 movie starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. But Berry said many people may not know the film adaptation was changed from the original.

The final performances will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 26 and two performances at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27 in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts on the Sheridan College campus. The production showcases the skills students develop during the intensive while providing the community an opportunity to experience a fully staged musical created in a condensed professional environment.
