AARP Announces Two Social Security Benefits Webinars
AARP Wyoming has announced they will host a pair of Social Security Benefits Webinars beginning this summer.
The first is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 22, and the second is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
According to AARP, Social Security Administration Public Affairs Specialist Josh Weller will walk participants through the essentials of Social Security, including who qualifies, how to apply, and how to use online tools at SocialSecurity.gov. Attendees will also have time to ask questions and get straightforward answers from the Social Security Administration.
This event is for anyone preparing to enroll in Social Security or looking for clear answers about benefits. Family members and caregivers are welcome. Both events are free and open to the public.
AARP also reminds the public there is no requirement to be an AARP member or to be over 50 to take part. Those who wish to attend need to sign in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. On the third page of the registration form, click select next to one or more sessions you wish to attend. Based on the session you select, you will receive an email with the Zoom link prior to class.
AARP Wyoming invites anyone to reach out to Jennifer Baier at jbaier@aarp.org to learn more.
