Johnson County Signs Prevention Grant Again

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved a revised agreement with the state for funding of local prevention programs.

Bill Hawley, Community Prevention Specialist with the Johnson County Prevention Council, explained at an earlier commission meeting what the grant funding would be used for .

Hawley said at the most recent commissioners’ meeting that another document, a prevention grant point-of-contact information form had been added, requiring signatures on that portion of the agreement.

The Community Prevention Grant through the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division is for nearly $222,000 for the local prevention programs for the next two years.
