City Council Approves Professional Services Agreement for Joint Land Use Plan Update Project
On March 2, 2026, the Sheridan City Council approved a cooperative agreement between the City and Sheridan County for long-range planning for the Sheridan Joint Planning Area. The City Council, at their business meeting Monday night, approved a Professional Services Agreement with Interstate Engineering for the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan Update in the amount of $200,000. City Planner Kelly Schroeder.
$133,333 of the $200,000 will be funded by the City, while the County’s responsibility will be $66,666. Schroeder said that the plan update is expected to take 12 to 14 months to complete.
