JCSD1 Board Votes to Become Vendor for Wyoming ESA

The Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District, at their meeting this week, considered becoming a vendor for the Wyoming Educational Savings Account (ESA) Program.

According to information in their meeting agenda, the Wyoming ESA Program allows eligible families to use state education funds for approved educational services, such as curriculum, tutoring, instructional support, extracurricular opportunities, technology, and courses offered through approved providers, including public school districts.

Also in the agenda, it explained that the district is “collaborating with all three Sheridan County school districts to align with a common fee schedule and service structure to ensure consistency across the region.”

JCSD1 Superintendent Charles Auzqui explained further.

The board voted to become a vendor for Wyoming ESA.
