Volunteers Needed to Improve Popular Mountain Bike Trail
Sheridan Community Land Trust Marketing and Development Contractor Chris Vrba is inviting the mountain bike and trail loving community to lend a hand, have a snack and take a ride during a Let ’em Roll Volunteer Night on Thursday, June 11.
One of Red Grade Trails’ most popular mountain bike routes – Let ’em Roll – has received major improvements, Vrba said while appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse.

During the Let ’em Roll Volunteer Night on Thursday, June 11, volunteers and SCLT staff will improve the remaining sections of trail and ensure the popular route is ready for summer.

No experience is necessary, and volunteers are welcome to help for as long as they are able. Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves and sturdy footwear.
Vrba said although SCLT has added trail staff to help maintain the many miles of trails, volunteers who give their time and effort are vital for ensuring these trails are properly maintained.

SCLT notes that volunteer trail nights are also an excellent way to meet fellow riders, spend time outdoors, and help care for the trails that make Sheridan’s outdoor recreation community strong.
