An arraignment hearing was held virtually in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan Thursday for 41-year-old Cory Gagner, who is charged with one count of Felony Property Destruction and Defacement. On May 23, Gagner was arrested and charged with the crime for allegedly “keying” a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Sheridan. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,472. Gagner pleaded “not guilty” to the charge at the arraignment hearing.

District Court Judge John Fenn set the trial date for December 14 and scheduled the pretrial conference for November 12 at 10 am. The two-day trial is a #3 stack trial, meaning that there are two other trials scheduled for that day as well. Felony Property Destruction and Defacement is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
