Crowd Has ‘Great Time’ at Lake DeSmet Fishing Derby

The 42nd annual Lake DeSmet Fishing Derby, put on by the Buffalo Lions Club was a success again this Memorial Day Weekend, according to Lions Club President Kellie Roadifer, who spoke with Sheridan Media on Monday at the club’s headquarters at Lake DeSmet.

She said those attending had a great time during the three-day derby.

The derby is one of the Lions Club’s main fundraisers during the year, and Roadifer explains what the proceeds raised are used for by the club.

Prizes and cash were given away during the event, and we will have the list of winners as they become available from the Lions Club.
