Sheridan Commission Approves MOU with Department of Health

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved an agreement between the county and the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division.

Heidi Smith, Nurse Manager with Sheridan County Public Health, spoke to the commission, asking for approval.

According to the document, the purpose of the MOU is to “set forth the terms and conditions by which the county shall provide Public Health Nursing services, and provide home visitations services and other Maternal and Child Health Services” from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.

The total payment under the MOU shall not exceed $139,625.

The commission voted to approve and accept the MOU.
