Public Comment Period Remains Open for Multiple Proposed Regulation Changes

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is accepting public comment on six proposed regulation chapters covering hunting permits for people with disabilities, license and permit issuance, gray wolf hunting seasons, private fish hatcheries, wildlife violator compact procedures and aquatic invasive species regulations. 

Wyoming Game and Fish Department Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt said the public meeting regarding the changes was held but the public comment period remains open for those who could not attend.

Public comment remains open until 5 p.m. June 10 for most chapters, while comments on Chapter 44 will be accepted through 5 p.m. June 18. 

The proposals and all public comments will be reviewed by the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission in July.
