Sheridan County Attorney Dianna Bennett announced Tuesday her candidacy for re-election for the position of Sheridan County Attorney. Bennett, in a media release, said she’s enjoyed working with the great team at the Sheridan County Attorney’s Office, and that she works with and supervises the staff in their office while also continuing to carry a full caseload.   Bennett said the Sheridan County Attorney’s Office has worked through the challenges of record case numbers while not increasing the number of staff or attorneys in their office, and that they are an experienced crew that diligently works to get the job done.

Bennett closed her statement by saying that she loves being the Sheridan County Attorney and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to represent Sheridan County as civil legal counsel, in involuntary proceedings, in juvenile court cases, and as the prosecutor in charge of enforcing Wyoming criminal statutes. Bennett has served as Sheridan County Attorney since January of 2019.

The candidate filing period in Wyoming is May 14 to May 29. The Primary Election will take place Tuesday, August 18 and the General Election will be Tuesday, November 3.
