JCSD1 Approves Employment, Meeting Change

During their recent meeting, the Johnson County School Board approved the Employment report for the month of April, and a change in the meeting venue for May.

The Employment Report included recommendations, resignations, one transfer, and one retirement.

The board also approved a change in the meeting venue in May from Kaycee to the Administration Office in Buffalo to avoid conflict with repairs to the Kaycee School.

Employment Report for April, 2026

Recommendations:

Kenli Bauer – Speech Language Pathologist, District (replaces Linda Danforth)

(this will replace the out of district contracted SLP) (pending license)

Sarah Dike – Teacher of Deaf & Hard of Hearing, District (new position)

Julie Kaufman – Student Support Specialist/Homeless Liaison, (replaces Tempe Smith) 

Emmye Bruno – SEE’s Teacher, District (replaces Logan Bauer)

Rachel Turner – Special Ed Teacher, District 

Resignations:

Lisa Ramey – Special Education Teacher, CCMS (effective end of 25/26 school year)

Josh Clason – Head Girls Basketball Coach, CCMS (effective immediately)

Logan Bauer – SEE’s Teacher, CCMS (effective end of 25/26 school year)

Aspen Monroe – Sp Ed Para, Kaycee K-12 School (effective 3/26/26)

Nanette Langston – Sp Ed Para, MDLK (effective immediately)

Henry Glackin – Asst. Football Coach, BHS (effective immediately)

Rena Anderson – Literacy Teacher, CCMS (effective end of 25/26 school year)

Morgan Kremers – Special Ed Teacher, BHS (effective end of 25/26 school year)

Jackson Ketner – Maintenance and Grounds (effective 4/17/26)

Transfer:

Jill Wright – move from SEE Teacher to Bridge Program Teacher (new position)

Retirement:

Patricia Irwin – Special Ed Teacher, CCMS (effective end of 25-26 school year)
