Jessica Weaver Announces Bid for Mayor of Ranchester
Jessica Weaver formally announced her campaign Monday for Mayor of Ranchester, Wyoming, bringing seventeen years of business leadership, eight years of municipal service, and a record of community commitment to her bid for the office.
“Good governance isn’t complicated,” said Weaver. “It requires showing up, doing the work, being honest with people, and making decisions that serve the whole community — not just the loudest voices in the room. That’s how I’ve approached my council service, and that’s how I’ll approach the mayor’s office.”
Weaver founded Iron Valley Insurance Group in 2009 as a scratch agency and has grown it into one of Wyoming’s top-rated independently owned, woman-owned, and veteran-owned agencies. Her professional designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor and Environmental Strategist reflect a career built on precision, compliance, and client service.
On the Ranchester Town Council since 2018, she has worked on budget oversight, infrastructure planning, and ensuring the town’s operations remain in compliance with Wyoming statutes. She has served on three regional boards and brings a deep understanding of risk management and fiduciary responsibility to local government.
“Ranchester is heading into a period that requires careful, experienced leadership,” Weaver noted. “We have capital projects underway, infrastructure investments to manage, and a community that deserves to know their tax dollars continue to be handled with discipline and transparency. I’ve been doing exactly that work on the council, and I’m ready to lead it from the mayor’s office.”
The general election is November 3, 2026. Learn more at weaverforranchester.com
