Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Applications open through March 31
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is inviting women interested in building outdoor skills and community connections to attend its upcoming Becoming an Outdoors-Woman camps at Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp.
The Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program focuses on creating a welcoming environment for women to learn skills such as fishing, backpacking and photography.
Two traditional BOW sessions are scheduled for June 5-7 and Aug. 7-9, with a Beyond BOW session set for July 30 through Aug. 2 that will focus on fly fishing and backpacking. The fee is $150 per person and includes meals and lodging. Participants must be at least 18 years old to apply.
The application deadline for all sessions is March 31. For more information about the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program, contact William Poole at william.poole@wyo.gov.
