City Approves Klondike Rush Routes with Changes
The 42nd Annual Klondike Rush will be happening later this summer as usual, but with some necessary changes to the route for the 5K race, after the Buffalo City Council approved the street closures at their recent meeting.
Tim Cahhal, representing the Johnson County Family YMCA, who puts on the event, came before the council and explained what needed to be changed and why.
The Klondike Rush 5K and 10K Races will happen Saturday, August 1st, along with the 4th Annual Klondike Volks 10K walk.
The cost to participate is $25 for youth 17 and under, $35 for adults 18 and older.
