Jo Co Assessor Urges Applying for Property Tax Exemption

Johnson County Assessor Steve Esponda, in his recent end-of-year report to the county commission, talked about the property tax exemption passed this year by the Wyoming Legislature.

The exemption needs to be applied for by property owners to take effect, which he said seems difficult to get the word out to taxpayers.
