The Buffalo City Council is expected to pass their Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget on third and final reading at their meeting Tuesday evening.

The city’s budget is set at just under $13 million, but nearly $6 million of the budget is in capital improvement projects that have already been funded through grants and a special sales tax.

The General Fund portion is about $4 million, with an additional $3 million generated from Enterprise Funds.

In addition to the department head reports, the council will review bid results for the Buffalo Wells and Transmission Line Project; Mayor Shane Schrader will make recommendations for appointments to various boards for the council’s approval; and a street closure request for the upcoming Klondike Rush will be considered.

The meeting will get underway at 5pm Tuesday afternoon at Buffalo’s City Hall.

The public is invited and welcome to attend.
