JCHC Receives $1.5 Million ERC Payment from the IRS

The Johnson County Healthcare Center recently received their final Employee Retention Credit (ERC) payment from the Internal Revenue Service, according to facility Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Shelli Shelton.

According to her written report, the JCHC owes about $183,000 to Synergi for their help in filing the return for the funds.

The ERC payment is a refundable tax credit for eligible businesses that paid qualified wages during the COVID-19 pandemic.
