GPET Application Deadline is Approaching

The City of Sheridan each year accepts applications for funding through the General Purpose Excise Tax program. The application deadline for GPET funding is a little over two weeks away. City Clerk Ashlee Foster explains how the GPET works.

Foster said applicants should be able to clearly articulate what services they provide.

Those that are approved for GPET funds enter into formal service agreements with the City and will report on how the funds are being used throughout the year. You can apply for the GPET funds online through the City of Sheridan website. The deadline to apply is by 5 pm on November 30.
