Budget Resolution on Council’s Agenda

The Sheridan City Council, at their upcoming meeting Monday night, will be considering a resolution for adoption of the City’s budget for the fiscal year that begins on July 1. Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller says that just prior to the Council considering the resolution, there will be a public hearing on the budget.

While the Council is expected to receive some good news in the form of the sales and use tax revenue generated for April, which was up 1 percent for the same time period last year, Mayor Miller says they will continue to be cautiously optimistic moving forward.

New City Administrator Stuart McRae will be introduced to the Council at the meeting and an agreement between the City and School District Two that establishes and creates the Sheridan Recreation District will be considered by the Council. The meeting will take place at 7 pm Monday night at Sheridan City Hall. It will be broadcast live on KWYO 1410 AM and 106.9 FM.
