Engineer Gives Update on Buffalo Wells Project

Jeff Barron, with WWC Engineering, the project engineer on the Buffalo Wells Project, gave an update to the Buffalo City Council on the status of the project as of this week.

Barron reported there was a delay in the project when the electrical sub-contractor reached out to the State Fire Marshal, which resulted in a paperwork problem that was eventually worked through.

He said within the next couple of weeks they should get the last few items completed and then begin working on punch-list items.

He expects the project should be on-line in the city’s water supply within three or four weeks.
