Beginning June 15 the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce will launch a program designed to get residents out and shopping again while possibly winning some spending money.

As part of the Live Life Local campaign, the Pledge Local Challenge invites residents to pledge to purchase and spend at least $50 in Chamber Bucks between June 15 and July 31.

Each person who has taken the pledge is invited to challenge at least two others to do the same. Every week each person who takes the pledge is automatically entered into a drawing for $100 in chamber bucks.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, chamber board member Rosemary Garber told listeners why the Pledge Local Challenge was developed.
