Buffalo Council OKs Letter of Support for Grant Application

A grant application by Johnson County Fire Control District #1 (JCFCD1) to purchase equipment has gained support from the Buffalo City Council.

Chanda Rule, Kirk Strom, and Tom Lohse, representing JCFCD1, spoke to the council asking for a Letter of Support.

Rule said the total cost of the radios is $126,000 and they will be asking for 75%, or $95,000 from the State Lands and Investments Board.

The council voted to approve sending a Letter of Support for the grant application.
