The Johnson County Commission, at their meeting this week, discussed a request from County Emergency Management Coordinator James Cataline for a closure of the courthouse for an upcoming training session.

Commissioners’ Assistant Kristan Kenyon read a letter from Cataline, who was unable to attend the meeting, to explain the request further.

The commission voted to approve an early closure of the historic courthouse at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 for Emergency Management training for the employees.
