Mill Park reopen for recreation 

Sheridan City Councilman Andrew Patceg and Public Works Director Hanns Mercer made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and announced that the reclamation of Mill Park is complete. 

US Army Corp of Engineers Project 1135 was completed in October of 2024. This years long project has restored stretches of Big Goose Creek.

With the conclusion of this massive project, the City was able to reopen Mill Park and the pathway system.

With the reclamation finished and the park and pathway now open the Sheridan Community Land Trust river access and launch area will be available.
