Wyoming Emergency Housing Assistance Program Established

The Wyoming Legislature, during the recent two-day special session, allocated funding for a new program administered through the Wyoming Community Development Authority. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
$15 million in CARES Act funding was appropriated by the Wyoming Legislature to establish the Wyoming Emergency Housing Assistance Program, which will provide housing, mortgage payment and rental assistance. Wyoming Community Development Authority Executive Director Scott Hoversland said that they are currently working on parameters for the program.
Hoversland talked about who is eligible for the emergency assistance program.
Hoversland said that once the parameters of the program are in place, they will launch an application site that will be accessed through the Wyoming Community Development Authority website. He encouraged people to check their website frequently for updates on the program. You can access their site here: https://www.wyomingcda.com/
