A postponement for the recording of a final subdivision plat was approved by the Sheridan County Commission, on the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, during the commission’s meeting this week.
According to the Agreement to Postpone, the county approved the Twin Eagle at Powder Horn Ranch Number Three Subdivision back on September 17th, 2019.
The final plat, by county rules, must be submitted within six months of that approval, or they can file for a postponement of the final plat.
County Planner Mark Reid said the postponement protects the applicant and gave more details.
The agreement also specifies that if the sub-divider fails to record the Final Plat within two years from the date of approval, then the Final Plat and related subdivision shall be void.
