JCHC Chief of Staff Praises New OB Area

Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief-of-Staff Dr. Lisa Mullen, in her report to the hospital board this month, discussed the new obstetrics area, saying it is being put to good use.

Dr. Mullen said the hospital has been busy, and both the hospitalists and nurses have been working long hours lately.

She said juggling hospitalist duties and clinic duties is a struggle at times but they are managing so far.

Having the hospitalists not covering the Saturday clinics has also helped with coverage.

She also touched on some IT and computer issues they are having in the clinic, but said it is slowly getting better.
