Representative Connolly Reports Compromise on SF0069

State Representative Marilyn Connolly (HD-40), in her weekly update from this year’s legislative session, said the conference committee may have reached a compromise on Senate File 69, the Homeowner Property Tax Exemption Bill.
The bill is in a conference committee to work out differences between versions passed in the House and Senate.
Connolly said it appears they may have reached an agreement that both chambers can agree on.
Connolly said the conference committee voted on that compromise Thursday morning and the committee members will now take it back to their respective chambers for a vote.
She said she believes this latest version will get to Governor Mark Gordon’s desk for his signature.
We will have more from Representative Connolly in upcoming stories.
