Buffalo/Johnson County Free Cleanup Days May 13th -16th
The City of Buffalo and Johnson County are offering the annual Free Cleanup Days this week from Wednesday, May 13th through Saturday, May 16th.
City residents can get their vouchers for the free cleanup days at City Hall.
You will need your license plate number and the make and model of the vehicle you will use for trips to the dump.
County residents need to pick up their vouchers from the County Treasurer.
City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades said most things can be taken to the landfill during this time.
Chemicals, paint, batteries and other hazardous materials and metal items will not be accepted during the free cleanup days, as the county will be offering a hazardous material pickup day later this spring, and metal items are always free to take to the landfill.
More information will be provided with the vouchers.
Vouchers can be picked up at City Hall or the Historic Courthouse from May 11th through the 15th.
