Aaron PalmerThe Johnson County Historical Society (JCHS) will present two separate programs in January and February at the library in Buffalo.
TheJCHS will present an “Evening of Precious Memories of Johnson County,” on Monday, January 13 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
According to a release from Nancy Tabb, those on the Discussion Panel grew up in Johnson County during the Great Depression and WWII, and they
will reflect and share their memories of those times.
Coming on February 10, the JCHS will host Richard Kendall, a local retired history teacher, who will present a program on Buffalo’s Street Names.
Also according to the release, Kendall has researched the people the streets are named after and will share what he has learned.
The program will also begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Johnson County Library’s Twing Room.
