Ron RichterAs the November 5th General Election approaches, Wyoming continues to see an increase in turnout across the state compared with turnout numbers from previous election cycles. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
According to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office, as of Friday, November 1, absentee turnout by mail and in person exceeded 100,000, which is almost 40 percent of the number of registered voters in Wyoming. Absentee ballots must be returned to the county clerk no later than 7:00 pm on November 5th to be counted. Secretary of State Chuck Gray.
Polls on election day will open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm. Any eligible elector present and waiting to vote at 7:00 pm, will be allowed to do so.
