Aaron PalmerBuffalo’s Sunset Avenue Project is ready to move into concrete work, according to Project Engineer Brent Bennett with Nelson Engineering.
He told the city council that the contractor will be setting the last manhole, which means they will be done with the entire underground sewer portion of the project.
He said they still have about 350 feet left to do on the water line.
Concrete crews are on-site and they should have curb and gutter poured from Juniper to Maple by the end of day Wednesday, and start pouring on the main line of the project.
The council voiced concerns over the coming colder and wetter weather later this week and if it will cause any issues for the contractor.
Bennett said there’s still plenty of concrete work left to do, but once they get started they can put it in fairly quickly.
