Price Increase Coming for Amie Holt Care Center

Price increases for residents of the Amie Holt Care Center at the Johnson County Healthcare Center are coming with the new fiscal year in July.

The Hospital Board of Trustees voted for the increase at their meeting Wednesday evening, after CEO Sean McCallister made the request after a presentation to the board.

McCallister compared costs to other care facilities in the area, saying the AHCC has fallen behind in their cost structure.

The increase will move up to $283 per day per resident, and will take effect July 1^st.
