Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council held their first regular business meeting of September Tuesday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Second reading of an ordinance to rezone the Sheridan County Fairgrounds from R-1 to B-1 was approved by the Council on a 5 to 1 vote. Councilman Andy Patceg was the lone no vote on the ordinance. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer discusses Sheridan County’s request to rezone the 42.6 acres of property.
The ordinance requires one more reading and approval by the City Council before the rezone takes effect. The Council also received an update on ARPA funding from City Treasurer Darla Hawkins. We’ll have more from the Council meeting in a future story.
