Aaron PalmerBuffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council at their last meeting, talked about a domestic disturbance that ended with no injuries thanks to the actions of his officers.
Bissett said dispatch received a call about a domestic disturbance near Burritt and Fort Street where the caller barricaded themselves in a bathroom in the home with a small child.
He discussed what happened next.
Bissett said he was glad to see the situation come to a peaceful conclusion and commended the actions of the police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and dispatch personnel that responded to the call.
He said these types of situations are unfortunately what the police deal with regardless of whether in a large city or a small town.
