Jo Co Commission OKs Public Health Changes to Office Hours

A request to modify the hours for the Johnson County Public Health Office during the upcoming flu season was approved by the county commission at their meeting Tuesday.

Public Health Nursing Manager Kristin Friedrich explained why they were asking for the changes.

Friedrich said staff would still be in the office on Fridays, to catch up on other duties, but anticipated they could schedule some office visits that day if necessary.

The commission voted to approve the changes, effective October 4 through November 29.
