Gillette Man Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ to Three Felony Drug Related Charges

A 48-year-old Gillette man was arraigned Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan on multiple methamphetamine related charges. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
On March 13, Brian Malone was arrested in Sheridan County and charged with three felonies; Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, and Endangering Children. Malone entered “not guilty” pleas to all three of the charges in District Court in Sheridan Thursday at an arraignment hearing.
District Court Judge John Fenn scheduled a pretrial conference for August 6 at 10:30 am, and set the #4 stack three-day jury trial for September 8. Judge Fenn continued the bond under the same terms and conditions that were previously set forth in Circuit Court with the added condition that Malone have no contact with the co-defendant in the case. If convicted on all three counts, Malone faces up to 45 years in prison and fines of up to $55,000.
