Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to approve the application for Federal funding for the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality program for the 2025 Dust Mitigation Project.
County Engineer Ken Muller gave the commission more details at their meeting this week.
Muller said the funding award amounts vary from year to year, based on the number of counties applying and the ask for funding from each one.
Last year Sheridan County received about $190,000 in CMAQ funding but got $330,000 the previous year, according to Muller.
