Sheridan Commission OKs Agreement to Resurface Parking Lot

In their Consent Agenda during their meeting Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commission ratified an agreement between the county and Simon Contractors for the Courthouse Parking Lot Replacement Project.

According to the agreement, the contractor will resurface and re-stripe the asphalt the existing parking lot just north of the courthouse on the corner of West Burkitt and South Brooks Streets.

The agreement specifies the contractor will receive $42,000 for the resurfacing portion of the project, and $2,500 for the striping, for a total of $44,500.

Work on the project could commence at any time after August 1 and is to be completed no later than November 29, 2024.
