The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has released the update on the Buffalo Main Street Project for the week of August 5.

Laura Dalles, Senior Public Relations Specialist with WYDOT District 4 in Sheridan, reports that work on South Main Street between Parmalee and Brock Streets continues with isolated sidewalks and curb replacement and ADA ramp installation at the intersections.

Double gutters at Keays and Gatchell still need to be poured, which is expected to happen in the next couple of weeks. Intersection closures will happen at those locations.

The storm sewer between Keays and Gatchell is being replaced, so expect lane closure with one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers in that location.

The school zone beacons and crosswalk are being relocated to better align with the school.

Dalles said work on North Main Street from the I-90 interchange to Hart Street will begin in the next few weeks, with more information coming as it becomes available.
