Buffalo Council OKs Trails Cleanup Agreement

An agreement between the City of Buffalo and the University of Wyoming for a project in Buffalo has been approved and accepted by the city council.

At the council’s meeting this week, Mayor Shane Schrader said it is a Wyoming Conservation Corp project, and City Clerk/Treasurer Julie Silbernagel explained further.

Silbernagel, in a separate interview, said the Buffalo Trails Board had applied for and was funded $15,000 in One-Percent Funds to pay for the cleanup project in the city.

The council only approved the contract to perform the work on the project.
