The Sheridan City Council held their second regular business meeting of July Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Following a public hearing on an ordinance to rezone property at 2308 Coffeen Avenue from R-4 to B-1, the City Council gave first reading approval of ordinance 2285. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said the properties to the east, south, and west are currently zoned B-1, while the property to the north is zoned B-2.
The ordinance must be approved two more times by the City Council before the rezone takes effect. The City Council also received updates from City Arborist Clark Van Hoosier and the general manager of the Antelope Butte Foundation.
