Civic Theater Guild seeking male actors for Norm Foster play 

Director Dan Cole and Sheridan Civic Theater Guild Board President Aaron Odom are inviting actors of all ages to come in and audition for the Sheridan’s Civic Theatre Guild opening play of the 2024-2025 season: “The Foursome,” a comedy by Norm Foster. 

Auditions will be held at the Carriage House Theater at 419 Delphi Ave. on July 15 and 16, beginning at 7 p.m.

Parts are available for four men, and no audition preparation will be necessary. Participants will be asked to do cold readings from the script, based upon the character descriptions that will be provided. 

Cole said the comedy follows four friends who have decided to play 18 holes of golf while catching up with each other after losing touch for two decades.

Rehearsals will begin on Thursday, July 17, and will continue in the evenings Monday through Thursday, with additional days to be added only if needed. 

Performance dates will be Sept. 19-22 and Sept. 26-29, 2024.
