Concrete Work Begins on Buffalo’s Sunset Ave. Project

In his report to the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting, Project Engineer Brent Bennett with Nelson Engineering updated them on the Sunset Avenue Project, saying concrete work was scheduled to begin this week.

According to information from Bennett at an earlier meeting, the roughly $3 million project will replace the water distribution line and the sanitary sewer line on Sunset Avenue from Park Lane to Cedar Street, as well as resurface the street.

Also during the meeting, the council announced that on Tuesday, July 16 the City/County meeting will be at 7 a.m., WYDOT will give their STIP presentation at 1 p.m. and the next City Council meeting will be at 5 p.m.
