Aaron PalmerAt their last meeting, the Johnson County Commission voted to accept a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Johnson County Public Health and the State of Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division concerning services for children.
County Public Health Nurse Manager Kristin Friedrich gave more details on what the MOU covers.
Friedrich said through the program Public Health can help with case management and help families navigate through the healthcare system when these children have additional diagnoses to figure out what specialists they may need, and to train them how to do this on their own as they grow into adulthood.
The funding is for $28,500 which will be distributed over 2 years in the agreement.
